Children must be a minimum age of 12 years and applicants must never have been excluded from the sport by British Rowing or it’s predecessor (ARA). We have a range of equipment available to both novice and seasoned rowers, sweepers and scullers. Membership fees for 2016 - 17 are as follows:

Type of membership

Fee (annual)

Application fee

Boat racking (single scull)

Membership runs from the 1st of April. Those joining part way through the year must pay the full amount in the first six months after the 1st of April as well as the application fee. Fees will be pro-rata after this time.

A junior member is anyone under the age of 16.

A student member is anyone in full time education – please give proof of your current educational status.

Country membership is for anyone who uses Swindon RC as a secondary training club because they either

a) will have access to the club for a limited number of sessions per month or

b) will only have access to the club for a limited portion of the year.

Speak to the memberships secretary for more information.

Social/Parent membership is anyone who attends the club regularly to support the rowers and this membership protects them under club insurance for any incidents on club property. These members are not covered for use of equipment.
