Club membership
Swindon Rowing Club welcomes new members of all abilities, providing you’ve already learnt to row. (Which you can do with us too, through our Learn2Row programme which recently saw us named Coaching Team of the Year by British Rowing).
- Children must be a minimum age of 12 years (accompanied - at least onshore - by a guardian).
- Applicants must never have been excluded from the sport by British Rowing or its predecessor, the Amateur Rowing Association (ARA).
We have a range of equipment available to both novice and seasoned rowers.
Membership fees are payable, below, in one go or by monthly standing order.
Membership types
- Full £195 annually | £22 monthly
- Junior / Student £130 annually | £14.50 monthly
- Social / Parent / Cox (non-rowing) £30 annually
- Boat racking (single scull) £90 annually
Membership runs annually, paid in-full once a year or monthly. Discounts are awarded on an individual basis and are at the discretion of the club committee.
- A junior member is anyone under the age of 18.
- A student member is anyone aged 16+ in full-time education – please give proof of your current educational status.
- Social/Parent membership is anyone who attends the club regularly to support the rowers and this membership protects them under club insurance for any incidents on club property. These members are not covered for use of equipment.
How to pay your membership
All membership payments are made through the Swindon Rowing Club ClubHub, which is a platform provided by British Rowing.
If you don't already have a British Rowing Login, you will need one to use our ClubHub (and any other clubs you row with now or in the future). You can do that through the same link below. Choose 'signup'.
If you already have a British Rowing Login, please use it - don't create a new one.
Once you're in ClubHub:
- Go to the membership tab and, to see all membership options for Swindon Rowing Club, add our club through the 'Select club' option top right.
- To add a Junior membership select Student membership. Scroll right for the monthly option.
- If you're adding a Social/Parent/Cox membership choose the Non-rowing option.
